Talk More About Your Why
After I give a presentation to college art students, I always get at least one who takes me up on my free offer to have a follow up 1:1 conversation. Last year a senior BFA student and I had a chat about all their various creative interests and how they might align.
Putting language to your why is my unique approach. If you learn nothing you learn the value of spending time on articulating your why as an artist.
That conversation made it clear to me we need to talk more about our why. Creatives are pushing through academic programs with little to no conversations about why they like what they are doing and what direction it could take them. I learned that what makes my approach to art entrepreneurship so unique is my commitment to helping creatives discover the words to articulate their purpose and what drives them. And my ability to help them master strategies that enable them to take that purpose and align the rest of their lives to it.
I want you to pause and remember why you are doing what you are doing. Analyze all the things that have you busy these days and determine if it’s in alignment with where you really want to go.
Peace + Love,
Stephanie
